THE BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

After many, many requests for a boudoir workshop – we decided to give you what you want!  This is the only boudoir workshop offered by Belle’s this year.

Belle’s Photography proudly presents THE BOUDOIR WORKSHOP.  The workshop is 1/3 lecture integrated with 2/3 shooting time during the workshop.  You’ll learn the tricks to shooting boudoir the way we do at Boudoir Candy Photography (a pin up & glamor division of Belle’s Photography).

Class size is very limited class size, so if you need or want a small workshop with lots of help – this is it.

* Wardrobe Tricks & Tips
* Flattering Feminine Lighting
* Working with Your Clients Figure
* Utilizing Backgrounds & Props
* How to Keep Things Classy
* Making Sessions Fun
* Basic Technical Techniques – (ISO, DOF, flash, etc)
* Tricks to Dramatic Boudoir
* Posing Tips for Different Figures
* Basics of Cool Compositions
* Tricks to Getting Those Sexy Expressions
* Basics of Shadows and Light
* Get Great Portfolio Shots
* Model Provided

This workshop is good for any photographer who has been considering getting into boudoir photography.  I can tell you from experience, it’s a totally different beast and requires a different skill set to be GOOD at boudoir.

Wedding photographers should take extra note of this workshop as boudoir photography is an easy add-on sale in the wedding market.  More and more brides are having a boudoir session prior to their wedding.

This is a basic-intermediate level class.  Requirements are that you have a DSLR camera and a basic understanding of how to use it.  This workshop is restricted to women only.

Boudoir Before & Afters @ Texas’ Best Boudoir Studio!

We have been so incredibly busy over the past year!  I just wanted to take a second and show some beautiful portraits from a recent client.  More posts to come!

The before & after shot is something that many women who come to Abilene Boudoir Candy Photography in Abilene, Texas decide to do.  It’s totally optional to do a before & after shot, but the results are so fantastic that many women are dying to share their transformation.

The B&A shots really help new clients to see that all the beautiful women on our website are NORMAL women too.  Just like you!

This stunning shot offers a feminine softness in a classic magazine style portrait.

Abilene Boudoir Candy Photography is based out of Abilene, Texas.  It’s part of the weird-but-true tale of how a New York artist relocated to the middle of West Texas.  That is the reason why we are one of the best boudoir studios in the country.  We do offer limited sessions in other cities including Austin, Dallas, Ft. Worth, and New York City.  Packages and prices range by region.

This is a great example of our vintage shots.

Clients can mix and match session types to get a range of styles from a single session.  We offer vintage pin up looks.  Some of our vintage shots scream Betty Paige while others are a soft echo.  Other sessions types are lingerie, swim suit, implied, and PJs.  The client pictured here intentionally wore her hair so that she could shoot some vintage portraits, and then some more contemporary looks later in the same session.  It gives our clients versatility and more options to choose from when considering which poses they want.

This is an implied nude shot, which simply means it looks like it’s more revealing that it actually is.

The implied shots offer modesty in the studio, while still creating a fine art type of portrait.  As you can tell with the example above, it’s about form and beauty that is feminine and soft.  Women love us for creating such flattering poses that showcase their curves, and their husbands love the shots as well.

Abilene Boudoir Candy B&A, Plus Somthing New!

I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had time to blog much.  Our Oct and Nov calendars are very full.  It’s possible I’ll have an opening, so call to ask!

Just thought I’d share an amazing before and after shot of an awesome client!  Her session was SO MUCH FUN!

Earrings and polka dots…plus a splash of pink.  This one is SO pretty!

The blue corset is amazing!  I love this portrait.

And this portrait is SO sexy.  Isn’t it amazing?

Tip:  During your shoot – say you decide that you are having fun and want to keep shooting – ASK!  If our schedule permits, we can upgrade you to the next package.

Abilene Boudoir changes name to Boudoir Candy Photography!

By the end of this year, Abilene Boudoir will open locations in Austin, Dallas, and New York. We will keep the studio boutique in Abilene – where it all began!

As we prepare for our expansion, you’ll notice the name and logo will shift.  We are already redirecting fans on facebook to our new page.  If you fanned us on the old page, please fan the new one to follow us, find out about promos, etc.  You can even sign up for our newsletter via our new facebook page.

Something Sexy, Girlie, & Pretty @ Abilene Boudoir

These were SO great that I wanted to post them on the blog too to make sure you can see how awesome a session is at Abilene Boudoir.

Here is the before and after pic.  Notice that she’s a normal person.  Tah Dah!  And that’s the whole point of a boudoir or pin up shoot.  You get all dolled up and we make you look your best!

Here are a few favs from her session.  I love the B&W!  Its all soft and romantic.

And this client was awesome!  We had so much fun at her shoot.  And her tattoos were gorgeous!  The colors were great so we tried to work them into her portraits using color schemes that pulled on the hues in her tattoos.  All her stuff turned out SO pretty!
